Birds in Helping Hands is a non-profit 501(3)(c) wildlife rescue and rehabilitation organization serving three counties in Florida: Pinellas, Hillsborough, and Pasco. Turtle Nest Update – October 2019

We had a total of 56 nests on St. Pete Beach with 40 nests hatched and 2623 hatchlings born. There were 71 nests on Shell Key; total hatching numbers still being tallied. There were 8 nests on Outback Key but unfortunately, none of these hatched due to storm conditions.
